The Saudi Ministry of Commerce announced, through its official account on the social networking site X Twitter previously, that it had launched a campaign to recall 16,190 Chery vehicles of various models.
According to the Saudi Ministry’s tweet, the models affected by the recall are the Tiggo 7Pro, Arrizo 5&6, and Tiggo 2Pro, indicating that the reason for the recall is the possibility of melting of the electrical braid of the electronic stability control unit, which may lead to its malfunction and the possibility of a fire.
The tweet did not reveal the numbers of each model affected by the recall, but merely revealed the total number of defective cars, stressing that all repairs would be done free of charge.
