Alfa Romeo is preparing to introduce a small crossover in 2025 – Cars, the first Arab website for cars

Cars – Alfa Romeo is preparing to enter the world of electric cars by introducing a new compact crossover. It is scheduled to be launched in 2024. This unnamed model will occupy a lower place than the Tonale in the Alfa Romeo lineup, and will be the base model in the company’s lineup. The car can be considered the successor to the MiTo models, but indirectly, because the latter is a supermini and not a crossover, and its production stopped some time ago.
The upcoming model will share the production platform with other small Stellantis models such as the Fiat 600 and Jeep Avenger. One of the sites presented an imaginative drawing of the expected car, according to the information available about it.
It appears from the images that the Italian car will come with a distinctive sharp design and the famous Scudetto grille with the Alfa Romeo logo on the hood. The car is expected to feature LED headlights along with a sculpted hood and black pillars. At the back, you can expect to see a rear glass similar to the coupe, complete with a prominent spoiler above a pair of thin LED taillights.
Overall, it looks like the smallest Alfa Romeo model will maintain distinctive exterior components, with minimal shared elements from the Jeep Avenger or Fiat 600. Possible exceptions could include the mirror caps, windshield and door handles. Inside, a digital cockpit, different upholstery and various vaccinations are expected to be presented.
The upcoming Alfa Romeo model will benefit from the CMP/eCMP platform, bringing it in line with other compact crossovers and hatchbacks in the B-segment in Europe. This platform has proven its compatibility with gasoline, hybrid and fully electric engines.
Alfa Romeo has officially confirmed that the B-Class SUV is its first step towards fully electric vehicles. However, leaked images suggest that it will also offer an internal combustion engine (ICE) version. This could include a mild hybrid option with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine like the one used in the Fiat 600 Hybrid and Jeep Avenger Hybrid.
