Announcing the results of campaigns against illegal motorized bicycles in Saudi Arabia – Cars, the first Arab website for cars

Cars – Traffic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the implementation of field campaigns to seize violating motorized bicycles in various regions of the Kingdom. The campaigns began on Sunday, November 12, 2023, and continued until Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Violations for motorized bicycles by region during that period included:
Riyadh: 544 violations.
Holy Capital: 56 violations.
Eastern Region: 75 violations.
Medina: 30 violations.
Asir: 71 violations.
Tabuk 36 violations.
Hail 78 violations.
Al-Qassim: 202 violations.
Jazan: 66 violations.
Najran 6 violations.
Northern border: 29 violations.
Al-Jawf 40 violations.
Al-Baha: 5 violations.
Jeddah: 413 violations.
Taif: 31 violations.
Qurayyat 3 violations.

The Traffic Department said that there are a number of instructions that motorcyclists must follow and adhere to when driving. This includes:
– Wear a helmet that meets safety requirements.
– Make sure that the motorized bike plate is installed in its designated place.
– Stick to the specified path and do not enter between the paths.
-Respect the speed limit.
– Leave a sufficient safety distance.
