BMW 7 Series recalled in Saudi Arabia and more than 16,000 Chery models – Cars, the first Arab website for cars

Cars – The Ministry of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed another recall of vehicles this November. The new recall this time includes 449 BMW 7 Series models from 2023.
The Ministry of Commerce said that the reason for the recall was a defect in the windshield wipers. This may lead to its separation, which hinders vision while driving in specific circumstances. The Ministry explained that this defect may lead to the possibility of traffic accidents.
It called on owners of defective cars to verify that the vehicle’s chassis number is included in the recall via the Recalls.sa website. I also asked them to contact Muhammad Yousef Naghi Company, the BMW agent in Saudi Arabia, to carry out the necessary car repairs free of charge.
The Ministry also announced the recall of 16,190,000 Chery cars in Saudi Arabia. The recall included the 2023 Chery Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 7 Pro, Arrizo 5 and 6 models.
The ministry said that the reason for the recall is related to the possibility of melting of the electrical braid of the electronic stability control unit. This is a defect that may lead to its malfunction and the possibility of a car fire.
The procedures required in the recall included contacting Sanabel Modern Cars Company to carry out the necessary repairs to the damaged vehicles free of charge.
