|Weight (kg)||1,413 kg||1,485 kg|
There is a difference in the overall length and the length of the base of the car in favor of the Piston B70, which theoretically makes it more spacious inside, but this may not be in the interest of the agile performance of the car, and this takes us to a second point of comparison, which is the engine and power numbers.
Engine numbers: power and efficiency
|Number of cylinders||GAC Embao||Piston B70|
|Engine capacity (litres)||1.5||1.5|
|Motion vector||Double clutch||Double clutch|

|Fuel efficiency (km/l)||18.9||17|
|Fuel tank capacity (litres)||47||50|
|Acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h (sec)||7||9.2|
There is a clear superiority in the numbers of the GAC Empaw engine, in terms of horsepower and torque, which is reflected in a better acceleration time. Despite all that, the Empow also excels in fuel efficiency, with a difference of 1.9 kilometers per liter of fuel.
Infotainment system and driver display
Both cars support a dual screen for the infotainment system connected to the driver’s screen. The Piston B70 comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch driver’s screen, and the Empau has a 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch driver’s screen.
As for the audio system, it comes with 6 speakers in the Piston B70 and 8 speakers in the GAC Ampow.
The most important feature is in favor of Empao, as the infotainment screen supports pairing with iPhone phones via Apple CarPlay, which is a feature not mentioned for the Piston.
In the Beeston B70 you get electric front seats with a memory feature for the driver’s seat and you get a heating feature in the seats. In Embao, you get an electric driver’s seat, without a memory system, but there is a ventilation feature in the front seats, which is a very important feature in the Gulf summer.
As for advanced driver-assistance systems, both cars have adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping system with departure warning, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.
Empao increases the features of traffic sign recognition, city traffic jam assistant and intelligent high beam assistant, while the B70 increases the presence of 360-degree cameras instead of just a rear camera, and with the surrounding cameras there are automatic parking functions.
