Ford Shelby F-250 Super Baja 2023 with an improved suspension system and rougher touches – Cars, the first Arab car website
Cars – Ford unveiled the Shelby F-250 Super Baja at the 2023 SEMA Show. The truck was presented with performance improvements and is close to the Raptor of the F-250. As a Baja model, the suspension is one of its most important features. The Fox Factory team developed a new suspension system that increases ride height using a custom BDS lift system. It provides more comfort on trips and improves off-road handling.
Compared to the previous version launched in 2021, the new generation Super Baja has a larger set of 20-inch alloy wheels with 37-inch BFGoodrich tires.
The front end got a new Raptor-like grille with “Shelby” lettering. Directly above the letters is an air-forced hood with a ventilation opening, while below it is a steel bumper that is also repeated at the rear. There’s also LED lighting, XL power sills and painted exhaust tips.
Inside, the cabin features exclusive parts such as full leather seat covers, inlays, custom carbon fiber accents, and embroidered floor mats. It all comes with Shelby Super Baja and CSM logos.
The truck comes with a 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbocharged engine, generating 475 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission.
Shelby American offers only 300 examples of the truck, with a starting price of $154,995, which includes the price of the model on which it is based, which is the Lariat Ultimate 4×4 F-250. That’s 50 units more than the outgoing model and $25,000 more expensive.
