In this context, Ibrahim Sabry, director of the Sodifam Foundation, the authorized agent for marketing the “Geely” Chinese car brand in Algeria, announced a reduction in the prices of Geely Gx3 Pro cars, whose price starts at 197 million centimes, thus becoming the cheapest new car in Algeria.
This statement came after he was received by the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Ali Aoun, on Monday, who stressed during the meeting, according to a statement by the ministry, the acceleration of the launch of the “Geely” brand in the Algerian market before the end of this month of November.
The minister also stressed “the necessity of reviewing prices so that they are accessible to the Algerian citizen.” Here, Brahimi Sabry confirmed that Geely will enter the market with 4 models, led by the Gx3 Pro, whose price starts at 197 million cents.
“Two other models will also be marketed starting next year 2024, pending the launch of a car factory project in Algeria in partnership with the Chinese,” the source says.
The GX3 PRO is considered the cheapest car of the Chinese brand in Algeria, with a price starting at 197 million cents. It comes with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with a power of 102 horsepower and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
