Jeep stops the V8 engines in the 2024 Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer – Al-Murabba Net

Al Muraba Net – As we know, international brands have planned to abandon huge 8-cylinder engines in favor of 6-cylinder twin-turbo engines that are more efficient in terms of horsepower and torque, in addition to fuel economy and carbon emissions. Therefore, Jeep’s abandonment of the V8 engine from the 2024 model may not be considered acceptable. The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models were particularly affected by the sudden decision.

Previous Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models were based on a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine with 392 horsepower and 548 Nm of torque, or a 6.4-liter V8 engine with 471 horsepower and 617 Nm of torque, in addition to the current 6-cylinder engine options.

This is not the first time that the Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer models have received the small Hurricane engine, as it was available as an option in previous models, but now it is the base engine, which is offered with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo capacity with a power of 420 horsepower and 635 Newton meters of torque. Or with 510 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque in the more powerful versions.

In addition to the changes related to the engines for the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, the 2024 model of the Wagoneer was launched without significant updates, but the Grand Wagoneer model received a new version that provides black exterior and interior finishes with new 22-inch sports wheels, and the rest of the previous specifications will continue unchanged.
