Renault officially unveils the Grand Kangoo with seven seats – Cars Live

French “Renault” unveiled the new Grand Kangoo at the 2023 IAA Mobility exhibition in Munich, and it provides maximum practicality at an affordable price for those who have not been exposed to the problem of SUVs yet.
Naturally, the new multi-purpose vehicle based on the third generation Kangoo was launched in 2020, and comes with a standard interior design that includes 7 individual seats.

Dimensions and weight

Interior Design
Renault offers three trim levels for the minivan – the entry-level Authentic, Equilibre and family-oriented Techno. The new Grand Kangoo offers a choice between petrol, diesel and electricity, starting with Euro 6E-compliant combustion engines. The 1.3-litre petrol engine produces 128 PS (96 kW / 130 hp) and can be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed EDC automatic transmission. Speeds.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine also produces 95 PS (71 kW / 96 PS) and is available exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.
However, the highlight of the range is the zero-emission Grand Kangoo E-Tech which comes with a single electric motor producing up to 120 PS (90 kW / 122 hp) and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque.
Using the Eco driving mode, power is limited to 75 PS (56 kW / 76 hp), with range prioritized, and speaking of which, the 45 kWh lithium-ion battery is good for a WLTP range of 265 km (165 mi).
Using an 80 kW DC charger, the Grand Kangoo can replenish its range of up to 80 km (50 miles) in just 10 minutes of charging, and Renault offers an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for the battery, which will be replaced free of charge if its condition declines.
Country of origin and opening of reservation
The new Grand Kangoo will be produced at the Maubeuge plant in northern France, alongside the standard Kangoo, mechanically related trucks from Nissan and Mercedes-Benz, and the upcoming Renault 4. However, the electric motor and superchargers of the Kangoo e-technology will be shipped from the Cléon plant in Normandy. .
