Furthermore, reports claimed that the Black Badge Specter electric car will deliver up to 650 horsepower, which is a significant increase from the current model’s 577 horsepower.
Like other Black Badge models, you can expect dark accents, a revised suspension, and stronger brakes. Reports claim that this model will use the same 102 kWh battery from the standard car and that driving range will only be slightly affected. As for the current standard model, it covers a distance of 418 km.
The company said last July that Specter Black Badge was not a priority for it. A company spokesman said at the time that there was no need to rush to launch a new model when demand for the current model was already high. However, Black Badge models account for approximately 25% of Rolls-Royce’s global sales. Therefore, not introducing the Specter in this version would be a mistake.
The Specter Black Badge is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2024, if not the first quarter. The current version of the Specter can accelerate from 0 to 100 km in 4.4 seconds. While the maximum speed is limited to 250 km per hour. The Specter Black Badge’s performance numbers will likely improve on these benchmarks, but not by much.
As for pricing, you can expect a significant increase as it will sell for upwards of $413,000, potentially crossing the half-million mark.
