The 2025 Ram 1500 abandons the V8 engine, and is offered in new models that include Tungsten and RHO – Cars, the first Arab website for cars

Cars – Stellantis revealed the facelifted 2025 Ram 1500 pickup truck. The truck ditched the Hemi V8 in favor of a Hurricane six-cylinder engine. It also provides the small truck with more luxury and technology, and the Ram TRX series also disappeared due to the disappearance of the Hemi engine.
In 2025, the popular truck will be offered with three engine options. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 eTorque will be offered alongside the Hurricane engines, available with 420 hp or 540 hp. This is the higher-powered engine that will find its way into the new Ram 1500 RHO, which replaces the TRX as a competitor to the Ford F-150 Raptor.
All engines are connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Depending on the version chosen, power is directed to the rear wheels or all four wheels.
However, these changes did not affect the capabilities of the Ram 1500. According to the automaker, the truck has a maximum towing capacity of 11,580 pounds, a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds, and can wade up to 24 inches of water. The Ram 1500 also maintains its reputation as a comfortable truck, with double wishbone front suspension and a five-link solid rear axle. An adjustable air suspension system is also available.
Not many details have been shared about the RHO model but it is basically the same as the TRX version but with a smaller engine. Which means it will be available with the same suspension.
The Ram 1500 retains its familiar styling as a 2025 model, but several updates give the truck a more youthful appearance. At the front, the headlights have been redesigned with slimmer lamps and now feature LED lighting. The ventilation grille has also been redesigned with a forward-sloping design. Ram said that the grille has become larger than before, and the “RAM” logo has been raised to increase the truck’s presence.
At the back, there are redesigned taillights with LED lighting elements in some models. Furthermore, the box and cab have been subtly redesigned to improve aerodynamic flow. Ten exterior colors will be offered: Baltic Gray, Raw Silver, Bright White, Delmonico Red, Diamond Black, Flame Red, Aqua Blue, Ivory White Tricoat, and River Rock.
Other exterior updates include a new power liftgate with obstacle detection. Vehicles equipped with this feature now have a dedicated button for operating the tailgate. The RamBox storage space is still available with a 115-volt outlet. This cargo system provides owners with a weatherproof, lockable storage area.
Inside, owners benefit from new premium materials and materials. Depending on the version, high-end metallic accents, high-end leather, and even carbon fiber are available. Bighorn and Lone Star models also receive Gidron paint with laser-etched inlays on the dashboard, console and doors. There is also seat lining in Diesel Gray or Black.
The Rebel Edition’s interior has been updated with red/black gradient mesh accents on the fabric seats. In the Laramie cabin, customers benefit from special elements and can choose from the optional two-tone Bison Brown/Sea Salt Gray leather.
In higher trim levels, the Limited Longhorn Editions benefit from wood accents. This model is only available with Bison Brown leather and massage function for the front seats. Finally, Limited versions get new black ebony wood inlays. The cabin is also available with an optional Black/Ebony Red package.
The new Tungsten series has also been introduced, offering a range of features and luxury. The interior is trimmed in Indigo/Sea Salt Natura leather, with metallic accents and a suede headliner. But this model also got unique exterior design elements, including a one-piece front fascia instead of a separate steel bumper. It also comes with 22-inch wheels.
The front seats can be electrically adjusted in 24 ways and include memory settings, a massage function and lumbar support. A 23-speaker, 1,228-watt Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system and dual wireless chargers are also part of the package. Other stylish touches include a tungsten logo on the center console.
The 2025 Ram 1500 also gets an improved entertainment system from Uconnect. A 12-inch screen is standard, but there’s also a 14.5-inch touchscreen. A 10.25-inch passenger screen is available for the first time in its class, providing the front passenger with three functions, including entertainment, navigation, and the ability to view external cameras.
The 2025 Ram 1500 features many standard safety features, including Active Driving Assistant, which gives customers Level 2 self-driving capabilities.
Pricing has not yet been announced, but the 2025 Ram 1500 will arrive at dealerships in the first quarter of 2024. The RHO version will also arrive in the third quarter of 2024.
